Current vacancies
We’re seeking an experienced bus driver to transport guests to and from our experiences. You’ll be a people person who enjoys entertaining and providing interesting facts and anecdotes throughout the journey. If this sounds like you, please enquire below.
Paddlewheeler Skipper
Can you entertain our guests with commentary as you skipper them safely on our sunset river cruise? You’ll be telling the stories of our historic paddlewheelers and their role in the outback. We will train you in the details but your natural enthusiasm will help create an experience our guests will remember. See the position description for licences required. If you also have an HR licence, that is an advantage in our small team.
Commercial Cook
Are you equally at home up-sizing a family recipe for a stockman’s stew to feed 50+ as you are bringing fresh inspiration to outback fare for the restaurant and cafe? You could be just the person we need!
Kitchen Hand
We’re looking for a can-do person to assist in preparing and serving delicious outback meals. Embrace the outback spirit, support our team, and help create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests in a heritage venue.
Entertainers (Old Time Tent Show)
We’re looking for performers with a good sense of visual comedy, the ability to improvise and the confidence to handle our trained animals (trained to RSPCA standards). You’ll also be responsible for backstage tasks and for giving other support for our guest experiences. Share the old time traditions and send our guests away with big grins on their faces!
Horse Strapper/Polerunner
As part of our Cobb & Co Stagecoach Experience, you play an important role in keeping things running smoothly with the horse teams and with our guests. If you have experience with managing horses (ideally also horse-drawn vehicles) and a friendly personality that can relate to guests, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to live and breathe your passion.
Wait-Staff
Are you calm and friendly, efficient and attentive? Then you’re the sort of person we need to look after guests at breakfast, lunch and our special Stonegrill Dining Experience and Country Classics dinners.
Housekeeper
Help us create the Outback Pioneers experience with an eye for detail that sets the scene for our guests. You need to lead, inspire and motivate the team to deliver absolutely spotless rooms each day.
Reservations Sales Consultant
Are you a natural organiser with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences? We need someone who thrives on handling enquiries, making bookings, and ensuring every detail is in place for an unforgettable outback experience. If you have great communication skills, love helping people plan their trips, and can keep cool under pressure, you could be just the person we need!
