NEW FACES AND OLD FRIENDS IN THE OUTBACK PIONEERS CREW. It takes a lot of skills, organisation, genuine passion (and definitely a sense of humour!) to make everything as it should be for our guests. We’re delighted to welcome some new faces to our crew this season. They are helping with everything from handling the horses to cooking your meals, from cleaning the new accommodation to performing in the Old Time Tent Show. Some you’ll meet on your experiences, some are behind the scenes making sure the scones rise, the wheels turn and there’s tea for the billy! We’re a committed bunch and are all looking forward to welcoming you to Longreach and giving you an authentic taste of our outback pioneering life.

Our crew (left to right): Tim, Nicki, Emily, Jonesy, Helen, Debbie, Brenden, Christine, Aunty Fran, Corinne, Scotty, Sarah, Raels, Lane, Robyn, Chris, Marij, Marisse, Richard and Maree.

...not forgetting Jeremy, Abigail, Sheree, Chelsea and Julia who weren’t around the day we took the photo.

If you're keen to join our crew, we are HIRING! Ask us about opportunities in our kitchen, restaurant, accommodation, and retail store. Please send us an introductory note via Messenger.

The adrenaline’s pumping as our coach horses gallop across the old mail track on the Longreach Common. Imagine the excitement of riding shotgun with the stagecoach driver. Step back into the past with Outback Pioneers, for a unique experience like no other!

We’re up and running for 2021. It is truly heartening to see all the families arriving into town for the Easter holidays, in support of local tourism.

EE-AW, EE-AW, EE-always wears a mask when he’s asked to! And we need you folks to do the same, when you’re on our experiences - hopefully just for a short while. This Covid 3-day lockdown, understandably, has everyone a little on edge. Despite the challenges, our experiences are running as scheduled, as long as everyone does the right thing, masks up and follows the guidelines.

It’s been a while since our Cobb and Co and Sunset Cruise ran. We’re not letting Covid dampen our spirits!
